1. How long will it take to make my website?
The time to develop a website can vary based on its complexity and the specific needs of your business. A basic website might take 4 to 7 business days, while more complex sites with additional features could take longer. Clear communication and collaboration can help speed up the process.
2. Will I run into any unexpected costs?
Custom functionality like adding MLS listings, custom booking forms, or custom widgets take time to make. If your website does require customization like that it will be quoted hourly. However, most websites dont need to be quoted for hourly customization as its usually included in the standard build. So no, you won’t find any fees popping up unless you’ve expanded the scope of the website. I also try to avoid monthly subscriptions to things like plugins or third-party software to reduce costs.
3. How do i pay?
To begin work on your website, I require a 50% upfront payment. This helps secure your project in the development schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the website, once you are fully satisfied with the results.
4. What do I need to begin making a website?
You’ll need a few things to begin:
- A logo
- All or most of the website content (text and images)
- An idea of what colors you want
To launch the website, you’ll need:
- A domain (around $15 USD a year)
- Website Hosting ($5-50 USD a month)
5. Whats the website building process?
- We meet via a video call to discuss your website and what you’re looking for.
- I build out the website with your content based on your requirements.
- I send you a private link to your new website built out, and you can then send any revisions or changes you want me to make.
- Once perfected, I launch the website!
